oh yeah kido i found out something weird. theres a family in the occult shop. an old couple and their grandson?? pinpointing doesnt seem to fully work on them.......... like im getting some kind of interference

Is it weird for a family-run shop? Lots of shops around town are like that, and your ability isn't restored completely yet either, right? It's not the first time you weren't able to figure something out.

but it worked on everyone else?! i even tried it multiple times but i cant get through! its weird!! its not like theres nothing to find out either because i can tell when im getting interference or if theres just simply nothing to find out

i couldnt get anything on that fortune telling person and now the occult shop family... its so weird. it used to work all the time and the only time i had interference was with jace and now too many things are getting in the way it suuuuucks

Well, the fortune teller was obviously shady, and the shop owners have been buying the monster junk, right? No normal person would pay for teeth and smelly scrolls, so it's not surprising they're weird. The same thing happened with the Tengu leader, didn't it? Was it the same for Jace?

he was 100% human and not strange though






okay maybe hes a little weird but not THAT kind of weird. i could find his location but nothing else...

well... he doesnt have an identifier so hes not a demigod at least. he also ages like a human!

and idk. just a feeling i get that jace is 100% human. he told me that too so i trust him

So you don't know for sure. I bet if you ask the shopkeepers, they'll also say that they're human and have birthdays and the such... Neechan's 100% human too, and you couldn't find anything about her. Maybe it'll come back to you.

The ofuda door at the castle, and the book in the train. Those two guys aren't there right now. It would be a good chance to look around.

There's an ofuda door in the castle and a book in the train. Both are unguarded because the two guys living there are on vacation.

i mean like... for people, they have an identity i can search for even if i've never seen them before, but you said book in the train. like... what book? maybe they keep multiple books in the train? idk which book youre talking about

and whats an ofuda

The book Souji carries around sometimes. The very thick one.
An ofuda is an amulet like the ones we have, except that in place of our name, it's the name of a god. Traditionally, the ofuda is supposed to be returned to its shrine at the end of the year after providing protection, but there was a space in the castle which works well enough, I suppose. Although this god was doing the opposite of protection...
