He has a stall set up in the market street for locating things. Feel free to thread it out with an inbox action thread or handwave it!
(Note: Terry gave Kido his phone. Bought his own flipphone on 8/26!)

oh yeah kido i found out something weird. theres a family in the occult shop. an old couple and their grandson?? pinpointing doesnt seem to fully work on them.......... like im getting some kind of interference
no subject
Is it weird for a family-run shop? Lots of shops around town are like that, and your ability isn't restored completely yet either, right? It's not the first time you weren't able to figure something out.

IT WAS JUST GENERIC STUFF LIKE HOW OLD THEY WERE
I DONT PRY SECRETS OUT OF EVERYONE I DONT KNOW
WHY WOULD I CARE ABOUT THOSE

and that was just testing how far i could go! i dont care what they do with whatever situation theyre in

Anyways, if it's generic stuff like ages, isn't it better to just ask? People will tell you things without you probing around in secret.

i couldnt get anything on that fortune telling person and now the occult shop family... its so weird. it used to work all the time and the only time i had interference was with jace and now too many things are getting in the way it suuuuucks

But it's reliable when it does work, right? So it's still useful in that sense. I was actually hoping you could check some things for me with it.
no subject
what did you want me to check out?
no subject
The ofuda door at the castle, and the book in the train. Those two guys aren't there right now. It would be a good chance to look around.
no subject
what??
[ He's been to the castle so many times this past week, but he never took notice of the door lmao ]
no subject
[ It's already so specific, how is she supposed to explain it any more than that? ]
Does it not work if you can't imagine it? Do you need to see it in person?
no subject
and whats an ofuda
no subject
An ofuda is an amulet like the ones we have, except that in place of our name, it's the name of a god. Traditionally, the ofuda is supposed to be returned to its shrine at the end of the year after providing protection, but there was a space in the castle which works well enough, I suppose. Although this god was doing the opposite of protection...
