He has a stall set up in the market street for locating things. Feel free to thread it out with an inbox action thread or handwave it!
(Note: Terry gave Kido his phone. Bought his own flipphone on 8/26!)

Yeah, it doesn't exactly fit. I can kind of see yours, but mine's just about the whole gang leader thing. Whoever assigned these were probably just looking at the surface.
no subject
kido you were in a gang as a leader?! how many people did you have under your command?? is that why your punches hurt a lot??
no subject
Yes. It was four of us until recently, but recruitment got complicated just before I turned up here. And no, you're just weak.
no subject
:(
no subject
[ ..........that's all she says, yeah. Because it is complicated, and she doesn't really feel like typing all this out. Kano phrases it as "Our activity now is to avoid the police’s eyes and infiltrate dangerous facilities to borrow things." which makes it sound like they just go around stealing things but ???
Anyways, if Kido were a kaomoji person, she would send Terry (o・_・)ノ”(ᴗ_ ᴗ。) but instead she just ignores the sad face ): ]
1/2
oh yeah i almost forgot. can you send a file over to me? it should be in an app that looks like folders...
no subject
anyway after you do that go to "files" and can you send me the "blackbox.txt" file?
[ Now Kido has access to literally everything in his phone--somewhat. Most of it is google translate-level, but with that white and blue app that doesn't require internet, literally everything in his phone can be in Japanese. But while in that mode, you can't edit/delete files. Future technology sure is amazing. She can even drag and drop the EMERGENCY app and it'll convert everything, even the audio.
Terry only told her about the translator app out of convenience though, since he thought it would be easier to fetch the file that way. He doesn't seem to think ahead for these kinds of things........ ]
no subject
But okay, cool. The translating app is easy enough to use, "files" is easy enough to find, and instead of sending the text file she opens it up to read, because she's a hypocrite who tells Terry to stop pinpointing people but she can be nosy if she wants. ]

She sends the file over, but also ]
What's the password?
no subject
its mmddyyyy of when i was created
[ File get! It's a pretty easy password to him, but. Well. Kido can go snoop through hospital records to find out, but she probably won't find the accurate year on there due to how time shenanigans work. She could look through his wallet if she ever gets the chance, but it's a fake ID, so his birthday is also listed as an incorrect version too. She'll have to guess... ganba kido ]
no subject
That's not helpful. When's your birthday?
no subject
why do you want to see anyway? it shouldnt be anything important to you
[ I think if Kido thought back a little, she probably could have guessed pretty easily, but it requires a lot of memory digging and so much happens in Hirajiro all the time so I wouldn't blame her for not wanting to LOL ]
no subject
Your birthday was last week? You should have said something. I would've gotten you something.
As for the file, I'm just curious about why that one in particular important to you. It would be easier if just took your phone back, and everything important would be on it- all your photos and old texts and everything. Those are all important things too, that you should have.
no subject
Also, yeah, it would be easier, but Terry really doesn't want the phone back. And he doesn't need all that much from it anymore, and there's the sentimentality of old texts, photos, and videos, but now, more than ever, he doesn't want to see those either. It just makes him miss Jace even more and the peaceful life he had back then.
So instead of telling her all that ^, he just replies with: ]
08202009
and its fine. you didnt need to get me anything. im happy with what i have now :D
[ Once Kido unlocks the blackbox.txt file, it shows an incredibly in-depth physical profile of someone named "Terrence Nowell" and there's one thing that really stands out in the midst of all the complicated lingo on there: "Death point: left eye". ]
no subject
Similarly, he's right in that none of this information is important or relevant to her in any way, info about who she can assume is his original because he wouldn't need a text document about himself. It's not like she's ever going to go up to his original and stab him in the eye, as much as she would like to for freaking Terry out so much the last time the guy was brought up and Terry was about to storm the forest looking for him.
... ]
Is everything okay?
no subject
Everything is fine.
Everything is ▓▓▓▓. ]
yeah i just wanted to brush up on some things in case i do end up seeing him eventually
no subject
Alright. Try not to obsess over it. He wasn't in the forest when we looked, and Souji and Minato are here now. You said they were strong. You don't have to fight him alone.
[ Everything will be fine. ]
no subject
things should work out! theyre really strong after all
right. i keep forgetting to tell you but when i was going around and stuff, there was no ocean... and i found out some weird stuff about the lake. im not the lake expert though but some things are bugging me about it...
no subject
no subject
Huh. That was something he didn't expect to realize. Does he really like the ocean that much? Did he really talk about it that much?
Hm. ]
well yeah?? the lake in town might as well be toxic. but lakes are usually formed with rivers connected to the ocean, arent they? and if theyre connected with rivers, then the rivers should be toxic too, but you can drink from them and even do laundry in them...
no subject
no subject
BOTH OF THOSE THINGS!!!
no subject
no subject
but fine. i will. :(
but isnt it weird? because theres no ocean for all the water to come from... i dont think springs are a thing here either
