[ Not dying isn't something that human can do, so Hibiki gives him a look and smiles. ]

I think I'm pretty fit! So... physical things are more of my thing.

[ Well, it sure isn't anything mental that he's good at.

[ There must be at least one dramatic pause when asking such a question. Hibiki fixes his gaze on Terry, still silent. A few moments pass... ]

...a hero with superpowers and secret idenitity?

[ When Hibiki finally says what he wanted to say, Terry breathes out quietly and then laughs a bit. ]

I'm not a hero! I'll never be a hero...

[ After a good laugh, he stares at Hibiki, straight at his eyes. ]

I'm a clone of a demigod.

That sounds even cooler.

Don't worry, I won't tell anybody. I doubt that anyone can see the difference.

Yeah, I don't think anybody does.

[ It's hard to believe that someone like Terry is... something like a demigod, but. Stuff happens.

Also he's going to give you the kiss of death in the future. watch out, hibinyan. ]

I don't feel like some sort of god anyway.

[ If Terry didn't tell him directly, Hibiki would have never guessed. ]

You don't even look like some sort of god.

[ Is Hibiki going to treat him any different now? Of course not. ]

You just look like...Terry?

[ What kind of answer is that... ]

Yeah! I'm just Terry!

[ Thankfully, Terry understands that Hibiki is saying, because that aligns with his mindset. ]

Though sometimes it gets awkward when people talk about gods and I'm just standing there next to them.

I'll try to avoid gods in our conversations, then.

[ Hibiki can be polite and considerate, apparently. ]

But maybe you should ask if demigods can get some discounts in this hospital.

[ The debt is growing... ]

[ Revering someone like Terry would not only put Terry in shock, but several other people too. Probably. ]

Normal people don't have such an impressive debt.

[ At least people he knows. ]

[ Is that praise or an insult??? Who knows. ]

[ When Hibiki says that, Terry doesn't think of it as an insult, but he's not sure if he should take it as praise either. But somewhere within his crushed heart, there's something at ease.

He looks over at Hibiki... ]

[overstrain]

[ Even though he shouldn't be moving, it looks like he has enough strength (while ignoring the pain with painkillers) to pull Hibiki to the bed and hovers over him. He even puts his hand next to Hibiki's head like some sort of kabedon but on a bed. His expression is a little harder to read than the dumb smile he usually puts on his face. ]

Hey... can you stay the night?

[rabbeats]

[ It happens so fast that Hibiki doesn't realize what is going on for a moment. Blinking, he notices Terry being in a very different position than just a moment ago, but he just rolls with it. ]

Demigodspeed. Isn't it against the rules or something?

[ He thought that you're a good boy, Terry. ]

[overstrain]

What rules...?

[ Maybe the amount of painkillers have finally gotten to Terry. He would normally be able to permanently filter this kind of thing out to stay relatively clearheaded, but his endurance can only put it off so much. Though, he's no longer beddon-ing Hibiki and plops down on the bed next to his side and hugs him instead, wrapping an arm around his torso. His face is pretty much buried into Hibiki's nape at this point and he even nuzzles a little. ]

You smell nice...

[rabbeats]

[ If a nurse decides to check on Terry, Hibiki will have "yeah, we gay, keep scrolling" written all over his face. ]

Thanks, it's the soap. [ Not everyone can smell like cinnamon, alas. ] You must be really tired...

[ The nuzzling tickles so he gets cut off by a soft chuckle. ]

I'll stay. Who knows, maybe it'll your heart heal faster.

[ The shit Hibiki says. ]

[ You know what. A nurse will actually come. She opens the door, but upon seeing Terry and Hibiki, she'll just... quietly leave and close the door again while muttering "he has such close friends". ]

I like it when you're here, Hibiki...

[ With how close he is, he might as well be talking into Hibiki's ear. ]

It makes me feel like I can forget about things. Maybe you're the one that heals my heart.

[ ha. ]

[ "Close friends" kjsdfkjds yes, thats it. ]

I'm starting to think that the painkillers they're giving you are really strong.

[ It's amusing more than anything. ]

Just relax and don't think about stuff. It'll be good for your heart.

[overstrain]

Mm. Yeah, so... stay the night, okay?

[ Not like... Terry will be doing much... totally. Apart from the occasional nuzzling at least. ]

[rabbeats]

Sure. Unless the nurses will tear us apart.

[ Hibiki can try fighting them, but can he win. He wraps his arm around Terry carefully and shifts on the bed to lie more comfortably. ]

I'll be your teddy bear tonight.

[ I can't believe I typed this ]

[overstrain]

I'll just say you're an overnight visitor... It's not a problem.

[ He laughs a little though. ]

You're a nice, warm teddy bear.

[ Since Hibiki is facing him now, Terry will nuzzle the side of his face, which makes their faces awfully close and you know what. Maybe it's because he's high on morphine, maybe it's because he's really affectionate, but Hibiki will get a small kiss on the cheek because their faces just happened to be aligned like that.

Also, I'm stuck using this icon for his current state, so he'll fall asleep. ]
