There's something about the way Kano acts that lets Terry let his guard down completely. It's as if he's finally seeing something genuine from him. And, well, if this is an act too, then Terry only has himself to blame.
Pets are important to some people. Maybe Kano is one of those people who feel that way. That's probably why he asked about bearded dragons earlier, since he owns one.
